Compact Dry TCR
Description:
Compact Dry is a simple and safe procedure for determining and quantifying microorganisms in foodstuffs, cosmetics and other raw materials, including pharmaceuticals. The ready-to-use Compact Dry LM food chromogenic plates are suitable for both in-process and final product controls.
Compact Dry TCR plates within their composition contain nutritional components that promote rapid growth of microorganisms, allowing enumeration after 24 hours ofincubation. .
The aerobic colonies present a red coloration, due to the tetrazole salt (redox indicator), facilitating theenumeration of the colonies and allowing them to be distinguished from possible sample residues. .
Specifications:
Matrix | Raw materials, finished products, environmental samples from the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, among others. |
Incubation time and temperature: | 5 ± 1°C or 32 ± 1°C for dairy matrices. |
Presentation: | Packs of 4 units |
Mode of use:
- Remove Cover.
- Deposit 1 ml of the sample in the center of the surface of the Compact Dry plate.
- The sample is automatically and homogeneously dispersed on the film and transforms the dry film into a gel in a few seconds.
- Replace the cover on the plate. Incubate for the prescribed time.
Weigh the sample

Add the diluent

Homogenize the sample

Removing the plates

Remove the cover

Add 1 Ml of sample

Wait for the sample to be absorbed

Put the plate down

Bring the plate in incubation

Perform reading

Important note
The flow chart applies for solid and liquid samples, for water analysis the membrane filtration technique will be used and for environmental samples: swabbing or sedimentation techniques as appropriate.
Interpretation of results:
Red or colorless colonies
Storage and shelf life:
